Where There is Breath                    There is Life

Water

Did you know that there is an organ hiding in plain sight inside your body? In fact , it’s the largest organ in your body , running from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. It weaves around and through every single structure in your body. Virtually everything you do , from walking to running a marathon to recovering from an injury, involves this organ.
Yet there’s a good chance you’ve never heard of it.
This organ is your fascia - the least studied, least appreciated organ in the body -  and if you’ve never heard about it, you’re not alone. In fact, it’s the organ that doctors barely study in medical school.
It’s true that you ( and your doctors) do know about bits and pieces of fascia: for instance, the tendons in your arm, the membranes that surround your brain, and the plantar fascia in your feet. But here’s what nearly everyone , including doctors, has missed for centuries: the fascia is a single, unified organ - one interconnected, coordinated system!

Treatment

Most people live in a state of constant tension, sometimes   our body does not even  know what real relaxation is.

Welcome to Synergy Sessions BFM Method

Biodynamic fascial modulation (BFM) Method is a holistic approach to bring healing to the whole body by stimulating the connective-tissue system known as "fascia". This method is based primarily on relieving the physical limitations caused by internal tension and spasticity in connective tissue.

The main point of the method is to restore balance in the respiratory system and recover the full free amplitude of micro- and macro movements. The task of the therapist during the session is with soft, non-manipulative techniques to gently encourage the body’s own self-healing and self-regulating capabilities. Painlessness is one of the key tenets of the BFM Method.

Conversely, We believe that healing painful symptoms with painful treatments only forces the body to develop more pain as a reflex defense mechanism. Therefore, we eliminate pain and stress from the process of rehabilitation altogether, which gives BFM therapists the ability to help a broad spectrum of patients that could not tolerate a more "traditional" approach.

Every emotional or physical event we experience gets locked in our cellular memory in the form of tensions and pain in muscles, organs, ligaments, and tendons. BFM Method restores psychosomatic issues and limitations, by employing non-manipulative techniques with the goal of reducing spasticity, promoting tissue repair, normalizing body structure, and restoring function to the organism.

The founder and creator of the BFM Method is Nadejda  Loskutova. You can find out more about the studies behind this method on "Resource" page.

About
My Story

My introduction to Biodynamic Fascial Modulation (BFM) Method happened a few years ago.

Since I was a teenager my scoliosis was luckily only a minor annoyance, but as I got older, pain and discomfort in my back became pretty much a daily experience. In March of 2014 I had a chance to visit my family and friends in Russia. Friend of mine suggested that there is a promising methods out there which can help with my scolioses pain.

During my first session at the BFM center in Moscow I felt that my body was responding to the treatment. I felt some pleasant tingling sensation in my body during the session, but pain was stubborn and didn’t want to go away. I was told that  "the older was the problem the longer it takes for the body to release it". I understood their point, but I simply didn't have many weeks for treatment before my vocation was over and I had to go back to the US.

I went to the BFM center for my sessions every other day religiously, and finally my persistence with the treatment was rewarded. I was feeling less and less pain every day and one day it disappeared. At first it was hard for me to believe that it was gone. It felt so surreal, but the pain truly vanished.

Til this day I'm blessed to be completely pain free in my back. The year of 2020 gave me a clear 20/20 vision of what I should do for the rest of my life. As soon as I could travel internationally in 2021 I went to Moscow to Nadejda Loskutova center to study BFM method techniques to become a certified practitioner .

I have always been interested in the study of disease, illnesses and healing of the human body. I have a Bachelor of Science in Medical Epidemiology and Sanitary Health. The BFM Method is my passion now. I truly think that everything happens in life for a good reason. If I wouldn't have problem with my back I would never experienced how amazing the BFM Method is. I became a Licensed Massage Therapist to bring the BFM Method into my Community, to help as many people as I can to improve the quality of their physical life. Because I'm a strong believer that everyone deserves good health.
